Some people ADORE Christmas shopping, but if you're like me, you dread a house full of objects you'll have to get rid of eventually because there's simply no use for them aside from taking up space! Maybe it's because I organize and regularly purge items from people's homes for a living, but I thought, "why not curate a list of products that are not only useful, but also beautiful and support some of my favorite businesses (plus some Amazon faves)?!" Every single thing from the lists I've made have some aspect of practicality to it - so you won't have a home full of clutter, but things you can use time and time again!
Purposeful Wood Toys - $15 - $55
You can find quality, colorful toys here, and they're great for child development as well!
This new Echo Dot can do practically anything! It acts as a smart speaker, clock, and Alexa! My kids love it and I like having one in each of their bedrooms, especially for when I'm feeling lazy and want to talk through it's speaker.
Notes & Knots Jewelry - $7 - $55
Jewelry, bows, and clips make GREAT stocking stuffers! I love to buy from Notes & Knots because their products have such great quality! I've been wearing a stack of bracelets (without taking them off to shower even) - for a year, and they look just as good as the day I got them! You can find matching "Mommy-and-Me" accessories from Notes & Knots, so that you can stuff your own stocking too!
Iron Flask Water Bottles - $18 - $35
Before the pandemic, water bottles were already popular among tweens and teens! Now, with the health and safety precautions in dealing with COVID-a9, they are required to take their own water bottle to school in most cases. Iron Flask is my favorite brand considering price, sizes, color and design options, lid and straw options, and quality as well!
Multisport Helmets by Bern - $55 - $66
Are your children into biking, skateboarding, snowboarding, rollerblading, etc? If so, they NEED a Bern helmet! My whole family has Bern helmets and we love them for the comfort, style, and peace of mind knowing that our heads are protected in case of accidents! For young kids, you HAVE to check out their "Nino canvas" helmets... it's made just as well but your child gets to color it themselves! My daughter LOVES hers!

Cordless Water Flosser - $38
We all know it can be hard to get kids to take care of their teeth! Water flossers make it easy! What I like about this one - is that it's cordless and only needs to be plugged in and charged every three or four weeks. Your bathroom counter doesn't need more stuff on it. We keep ours in the shower which is a great way to contain the occasional mess of water flossing! In case you have children that would be sharing this ... it comes with 4 different nozzles that have a color assigned to each.
Weighted Blanket - $40 - $166
I didn't jump on the weighted blanket bandwagon until recently, but thought I'd give it a try since people claim they can help to lessen anxiety, relieve pain, and help you to sleep better! I love having one. These weighted blankets are heavy but not hot, and come in several sizes, colors, and prints!
Felt Tip Pens - $12
There's something so satisfying about taking notes or doodling with felt-tip pens, you know what I mean? I have this pack of 12 as an adult and love them! I know that kids from elementary school through high school would have just as much fun with them as I do, if not more! This pack of 12 would make a fun and practical stocking stuffer.
I like it when everything in a room matches it's aesthetic, and I also like when tween and teens can set their own alarms! These wooden alarm clocks are more of a practical gift item, but would be fun to open on Christmas anyway!
I love these little caddies with wooden handles! They come in different colors and can be used for toys, makeup, tech gadgets and cords, etc! Your young child or teen will easily find a good use for them!
The 2-minute timer on this electric toothbrush is such a great help for parents! Kids love it too! I like that the Quip toothbrushes use batteries and not cords... and you can sign up for a replacement plan for just $5 every 3 months! The batteries and replacement head show up at your door when 3 months have passed. Easy peasy!
